Tanjiro Kamado: ENFJ (Humble & Resilient)
Tanjiro Kamado, the protagonist of the series Demon Slayer, is an ENFJ MBTI. He is the most caring character in the anime, always willing to stand up for others. Despite being so young, Tanjiro is never afraid to fight for justice and take the right step.
As a typical ENFJ, Tanjiro is quite idealistic, thinking he can change his sister back into a human. His idealism doesn’t end there, and he wishes even to help the Demons he fights.
However, his overly empathetic nature is his weakness and impacts his decision to kill Demons as evil as the Upper Moon ones.
Nezuko Kamado: ISFJ (Kind & Caring)
Nezuko Kamado, Tanjiro’s sister and the most loved Demon of the Demon Slayer Universe, is an ISFJ, the Defender. Nezuko is highly selfless, always putting others above her own needs.
The young girl, even after becoming a Demon, held back her thirst due to her loyalty and immense love for her brother.
Although Nezuko is a Demon, she is protective of all demons and hasn’t harmed anyone yet. In fact, she’s the true definition of the Defender type, pushing her limits and discovering new powers just to save her brother from Daki.

Shinobu may look kind on the surface, but she’s one of the most ruthless Hashiras, having no mercy for the demons she kills.

The former Water Hashira, Sakonji Urokodaki, is an ISTJ known as the logistician. Urokodaki is a straightforward and honest person, not even going easy on a child as young as Tanjiro when it comes to training him.
However, his upfront and brutal nature are what shaped Tanjiro into the powerful Demon Slayer he is today.
The former Water Hashira appears stern and strict on the surface, but he’s twice as warm on the inside. Urokodaki had lost many of his students to the Demon Slayer exam, but he still trained Tanjiro because he felt compassion for him.

Tamayo: INFJ (Gentle & Wise)
Tamayo, another loved and respected Demon in the anime, is the perfect definition of INFJ, the Advocate of the MBTI. Like most advocates, she’s a kind soul, willing to help others even at the cost of her own life.
Tamayo possesses a creative and insightful mind, allowing her to create a drug that later helps in turning Nezuko back into a human.
Tamayo is always displayed as a kind and gentle soul in anime. Despite being a Demon, Tamayo forbids violence and even helps out other humans by using her expansive knowledge in medicine.
As caring as Tamayo is, she is pretty brutal when it comes to Muzan Kibutsuji, who killed her family.
Giyu Tomioka: ISTJ (Just & Reserved)
The Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka, is an ISTJ like the former Water Hashira. Like his teacher, Urokodaki, Giyu is also pragmatic and not as strict as most Hashiras when it comes to Demons.
He appears to be reserved on the surface but is quite honest, pushing Tanjiro to stand up for his sister during their first encounter.
Giyu was the first Hashira seen in the anime and is mistaken as insensitive. Although Giyu is brutal when it comes to slaying Demons, he shows mercy to Nezuko and Tanjiro and violates the rules of the Demon Slayer Corps.
What’s more, Giyu thinks with a clear mind, allowing him to make the best possible decision by putting his feelings aside.
Tengen Uzui: ESTP (Eccenteric & Flamboyant)
Tengen Uzui, the most flamboyant Hashira of the series, is an excellent representation of an ESTP. His bold and flashy personality attracts everyone to him, especially the fans after his appearance in the latest season.
Tengen may appear to be laid-back, but he’s highly perceptive, showcasing his observatory skills in the Entertainment District Arc.
The Sound Hashira combines his eccentric personality with his practicality and uses interesting fighting methods to kill Gyutaro and Daki.
He may appear careless on the surface, but he cares deeply for his wives and is willing to die for them as well.

Akaza of the Upper Moon Rank Three accurately represents the MBTI ESFP. He is bold and co*cky, displaying his confidence in his skills in his fight against Rengoku, the Flame Hashira.
The Upper Moon Demon is extraordinarily stubborn and resilient, refusing to die even if it means escaping from a fight.
Akaza has been demonstrated as the most battle-crazed Demon out of all, who firmly believes in the survival of the fittest. Akaza had a rough past, which further fuels him to become stronger.

Muzan Kibutsuji: ENTJ (Ruthless & Indifferent)
Muzan Kibutsuji, the major Villain of the anime series Demon Slayer, appropriately represents the personality type ENTJ.
As the Commander of the MBTI, Muzan is always striving to receive more power, looking for ways to become immortal. He’s incredibly charismatic, convincing even the most stubborn people to join his army of Demons.
Muzan is unbelievably intelligent and a strategic thinker, making it easier for him to survive all these years and create a massive army of his own.

Gyutaro of the Upper Moon Rank Six is an ISFP, also known as the Adventurer. As an ISFP, Gyutaro suffered from self-esteem issues even before becoming a demon.
What’s more, he quickly gets stressed and harms himself when feeling any kind of frustration.
The Demon Gyutaro had a rough childhood and faced the harsh realities of life at a very young age. As a result, he became really bitter and enjoyed killing those who lived a better life than him.
According to him, harming others is the only way he can be compensated for all the sufferings he faced as a child.
Daki: ESFP (Childish & Arrogant)
Gyotaro’s younger sister, Daki, is a brilliant representation of the MBTI ESFP, also known as the Entertainer.

Even during fights, Rui always remains civilized and doesn’t let his anger take over him. Although Rui appears to be calm and collected in the front, he can be ruthless and strict.
A typical trait of logisticians is that they are dutiful in nature and expect the same from others as well. Therefore, when Rui’s family members do not perform their duties well, he treats them with brutal punishment.
Kagaya Ubuyashiki: INFJ (Wise & Compassionate)
Another INFJ on the list is Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. He’s a kind and gentle person, the only one willing to understand Nezuko and Tanjiro’s situation when brought to the Demon Slayer Corps.
