Skyline is a divine gun with a storm-like effect traveling across the weapon.
Death Effect[]
When someone is killed by Skyline, a bolt of lightning will travel across the victim, igniting their body. This is similar to what happens when someone dies in the gamemode, "Who did it"
How To Obtain[]
To obtain Skyline, you must open a Legendary Crate from the store, which costs 6000 credits. Otherwise, it is obtainable through trading.
Trivia[]
Skyline is considered to be the highest value of the four divine guns. The other divine guns are Retro, Peak, and Ruby.
Never shoot over a ridge. Only shoot when you have a safe range or shooting area, as well as a safe backstop or background. Do not shoot at an animal standing on a ridge top (a “skyline” shot) where you can't identify a safe background. Keep your emotions under control, and think about safety first.
Sky-lined animal – A game animal that is on top of a hill or in such a position that there is nothing behind the animal to stop a bullet in case of a missed shot. Sound shot – A shot fired at a sound without any other target identification. This is an extremely unsafe practice.
There's no question that a properly-placed bullet in the neck can be extremely effective, but the target is small. Depending on the animal species you're looking at, it's a couple inches wide or a bit more.
Avoiding meat damage is not a justification for taking head shots on deer. Potentially dealing a serious injury to a deer that you cannot then recover is not worth any amount of meat saved. A heart/lung shot that puts the deer down close by might, if it's a little far forward, damage one or both front quarters.
(Full metal jacket) isn't allowed for hunting. Main reason is that it over penetrates and doesn't deform. The game isn't knocked down and the bullet can easily hit someone or something you did want to shoot.
headshot is not very safe to kill an animal ^^ they have very small brains and some have massive skulls that are hard to penetrate. go for a heart or lung shot - magical triangle between the front legs (not to high) if it faces you, or along the frontlegs (a wee bit behind) from the side.
If you plan on using a slingshot as a small game hunting tool, there are a few things you should know. Most importantly, accuracy is everything, since headshots on small critters are the goal.
On the other, when an animal is bedded, the body is often “squashed” at odd angles, and it can be very difficult to envision exactly where the vitals lie. This is a risky shot, but how risky, and whether acceptable, depends primarily on what you can see and how well you think you can visualize the proper aiming point.
