The ‘Winter Wonderland’ skin bundle has added a new and unique melee weapon to Valorant, but there seems to be more to it
The Winter Wonderland skin collection contains skins for the following weapons included in it: Phantom, Vandal, Ghost, Marshal, Melee. Each of these weapon skins features a winter-themed look that changes in-game depending on whether you’re standing in a bright or dark area.
However, the most interesting part of this new skin bundle is perhaps the easter egg hidden inside the Candy Cane knife that allows players to transform it into a dagger.
How to get the new Candy Cane Dagger in Valorant
To obtain the Candy Cane Dagger from your Candy Cane Melee, all you have to do is hit on the walls, boxes, or barries when you’re in-game.
The number of hits required to change the form of your Candy Cane knife to the dagger seems to be random. Your best bet is to keep knifing walls and barriers at the start of the round or whenever you can to maximize your chances of obtaining it.
Once you keep hitting the walls long enough, you’ll see your Cane changing into a dagger which you’ll continue to have for the rest of the half in the game.
However, from a third-person perspective, others won’t be able to see any change in your knife.
Everything else like the inspect animation, equip time, or attack animation will still be the same.
