Governors Awards 2024 Red Carpet Photos With Tom Hanks, Selena Gomez, Kate Winslet, Andrew Garfield (1)

The red carpet for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ annual Governors Awards was overflowing with A-listers.

Sunday’s starry evening, considered the first major campaign stop for the year’s Oscar contenders, will include the presentation of honorary Oscars to the late Quincy Jones, the first Black producer to be nominated for best picture, and legendary casting director Juliet Taylor. Screenwriter and director Richard Curtis receives the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award while James Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are recognized with the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.

Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Angelina Jolie, Daniel Craig, Jennifer Lopez, Andrew Garfield, Jennifer Lawrence (and her baby bump), Selena Gomez, Danielle Deadwyler, Kevin Costner, Mikey Madison, Guy Pearce, Felicity Jones, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Sharon Stone were among the stars who turned out for the Motion Picture Academy’s second-biggest night of the year.
