A collision on a major Gloucestershire route caused a morning slowdown for motorists, with the disruption extending to a nearby B-road.
The incident occurred near the traffic lights on the B4215 in Highnam, where the crash spilled onto the A40. The southbound carriageway was partially blocked, and slow-moving conditions were also observed on the A417, according to early reports.

By 10:27am, the situation had eased and traffic returned to normal levels.
